9.3% Economic Growth Rate In Ghana For The 3rd Quarter
Ghana recorded a 9.3 percent economic growth rate ending September this year, according to third-quarter estimates released by the Ghana Statistical Service.
This a substantial growth compared to the 4.6 percent recorded in the third quarter of 2016.
The third quarter growth was influenced by a significant jump in industry's performance, which recorded a 16.6 percent.
This is a result of a 40 percent growth of the mining and quarrying sub-sector, followed by Agric with 10 percent and services with 5.7 percent.
