Otiko Djaba Is Arrogant; She Should Be Fired—NPP Communicator

A Member of the New Patriotic Party's (NPP) Eastern Regional Communications team Francis Anom popularly known as Fransoa has described the Minister for Gender, Children and Social Protection Madam Otiko Afisa Djaba as arrogant and has called for her removal as Gender minister if she is unable to prove her alleged bribery allegation against Bugri Naabu.

Madam Otiko Afisa Djaba was reported to have accused the Northern Regional Chairman of the New Patriotic Party Daniel Bugri Naabu of receiving bribes from persons in the region in return for positions following an incident last Friday when the Northern Regional Chairman of the NPP disrupted a meeting organized by the Minister for Gender, Children and Social Protection Otiko Afisa Djaba, vandalizing properties and claiming that she did not seek his consent before organizing the meeting.

Commenting on the issue on the 'Maakye' show on Hot93.9fm with Akwasi Boateng, Francis Anom also know as Fransoa expressed his disappointment in the conduct of both Otiko Djaba and Bugri Naabu citing that, they could have find a better way to settle the issue.

According to him, the conduct of Otiko Djaba reveals that she is arrogant which does not suit her position. He indicated that, Otiko Djaba could have gone to the Party's National Executives if she has evidence to prove that Bugri Naabu receives bribes from persons for position and not go public with such an allegation.

"At the end of the day, we are all in one party so let's do something that will help the party. Do they know that, the action they have both taken could make the Ghanaians lose trust in tge party? Bugri Naabu should not have disrupted the meeting held by Otiko Djaba but rather should have reported his concerns to the right quarters and she also should not have responded in the way she did because if she had any evidence of Bugri Naabu collecting bribes, she should have reported it to the National Executives of the Party and not go out to make such allegation. I think it is time our party leaders called her to order concerning her attitude because if not for anything, she could have seen Bugri Naabu as her father and should have chosen the appropriate way to handle the situation

I urge party executives to set up an enquiry to investigate this issue of bribery and if it turns out that she has no evidence to prove her allegation, then I call on President Akufo- Addo to fire her from her position as the Gender minister because her attitude proves that she is becoming arrogant and she should be called to order," he stressed.
