Strange Women Storm NPP Office

The two strange women invoking the curses at the former NPP Ashanti regional office at Bantama

The former Ashanti regional office of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) at Bantama was a scene of drama on Thursday morning, as two strange women stormed the place to invoke curses on detractors of the NPP in the coming polls.

Without provocation, the two women invoked curses on anyone or group that would dare massage the results of the impending polls to enable the National Democratic Congress (NDC) to win the polls.

They particularly mentioned moles within the NPP, Electoral Commission officials, machomen and policemen who would dare rob the NPP of an imminent electoral victory to be sternly dealt with by some powerful river deities.

The women mentioned the names of dreaded river deities in the country like Antoa Nyamaa, Bobo and Subin to deal ruthlessly with anyone that would rig the polls in favour of the ruling NDC.

The two women whose faces were covered with dry leaves used about 20 bottles of schnapps and 60 pieces of local egg to invoke the curses on their targets.

Even though the real identities of the women were not known, the weird manner in which they were dressed and the display they exhibited raised the suspicion that they were priestesses.

They warned that any NPP executive or polling station official that would receive bribe from the NDC and soften their stance to enable the NDC to rig the elections and retain political power would be killed by the river deities.

The two women also stated that they believe in the river deities to strike dead any EC official, policemen or any other security agent that would dare assist the NDC to rig the elections would not be spared by the river goddesses.

As if not enough, the strange women said the river deities are combat ready to deal ruthlessly with any machoman or policeman who would play roles to ensure that the NDC snatches ballot boxes during the election day.

The two strange women after accomplishing their strange mission left the scene, with curious people craning their necks to get a clearer look at them. It was not known if some people in the party engaged them to invoke the curses.
