There Is No Government Without You

We think of democracy and all that comes to mind is our right to speech and be heard.

Is that all there is to democracy?
What happened to your right to vote?
Don’t you think when you have a wrong government in office you cannot be heard because you cannot voice it out?

There is no government without you.
The government is because you are.
It is your responsibility to determine who governs you.

Have you come to the place of shirking your responsibilities?

Power is vested in your hands and it is you who decides whose hands you will place it in.

Fellow Ghanaian, Fellow electorate; the days are drawing nigh and nigh.

Another opportunity stares you in the face to accept to enjoy another vital right which comes to you once in every four years.

You do not have it as you have the others.
It is your right, it is your freedom and no one can enjoy it for you.

In your hands lies power and until you give that power to the candidate of your choice, it remains inactive.

Blevi Matilda Mensah is my name and come December 7, you and I must enjoy our right by exercising our franchise.

A peaceful Ghana is not an automatic happening.
You and I must make it happen.
Politics of insults, the use of threats and abusive languages must be done away with.

I STAND FOR PEACE, WHAT ABOUT YOU?
