Journalist Files Nomination Forms To Contest Sunyani West Constituency Seat
A journalist Mr. Oti Yeboah Prince who works with Sunyani Based Dinpa fm a branch of FrankMedia group in the Brong Ahafo Region has joined the race to contest for the Sunyani West Constituency seat on the ticket of Hassan Ayarigah’s All Peoples’s Congress (APC). As a vibrant youth advocate and seasoned journalist, he seeks to alleviate the poverty tag of the constituency through the provision of skills, education and innovation.
Prince an indigen of Chiraa in the Brong Ahafo Region together with some party faithfuls and executives stormed the District Electoral Commission Office to file his nomination forms to authenticate his eligibility to have a space on the ballot paper on December 7th, 2016.
‘‘My chances is bright to win the parliamentary seat for the first time for the APC in order to help the youth and the whole constituency. Sunyani Weat constituency is in total hardship and has been enslaved for long in development. This is the Liberation time’’ He said
Mr.Oti Yeboah Prince is hoping to defeat the NPP’s candidate to take his seat in parliament on 7th January 2016. The Sunyani West constituency seat has been won on all occasions by the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP) since Ghana opted for democracy through the ballot box and is currently occupied by Hon. Ignatius Baffour Awuah minority whip in parliament.
