One Dead, Several Injured In Fatal Mankrong Accident

One person is feared dead and several others injured in an accident at Mankrong near Suhum on the Accra-Kumasi Highway.

Two Articulated trucks reportedly collided head-on after one tried to overtake a Kia truck heading to Kumasi from Accra Thursday morning.

The driver of the Kia truck reportedly died instantly after his car skidded off the road in the process of the crash.

A VIP bus driver who tried to avoid ramming into the other vehicles veered off the road into a nearby bush.

The injured persons are currently receiving treatment at the Suhum Government Hospital.
