TB Joshua supports needy students

Accra, Jan 28, GNA - Passion for Needy, a local NGO belonging to Prophet TB Joshua of the Synagogue Church of all Nations (SCOAN), has supported four needy but brilliant students in various educational institutions of studies.

They are Michael Owusu Boateng, who is a student of UPS, Janet Ago Tetteh and Samuel Abam who are both students of Kpong SHS, and Amina Abubakar of La PRESEC all had their academic fees and palm tops, totaling GH¢8,500, paid.

They were also presented with other items for their upkeep.

In a statement sent to the Ghana News Agency on Thursday, Mrs Tanet Torgbor El-Aschker, Chairperson of Passion for Needy, who did the presentation, appealed to the students to take their studies seriously and ensure that they came out successful in their academic work.

Reverend Joseph Tawiah, an Executive Member of the NGO, also reminded the students of the role they had to play to ensure that they achieved their heart desires and also advised them to always depend on God for directions in life.

Mr Odame Tei, an Educationalist, who received the fees on behalf of the students expressed his appreciation to Prophet TB Joshua for the kind gesture and advised the students to always consider the support given them and make good use of it.

In a related development, the NGO also renewed its yearly water supply at an amount of GH¢3,500 to the Christ Faith Forster Home at Frafraha to enable the inmates get potable water to use.
