Fifty-five- year-old woman installed queen-mother of Dormaa Nsenia

Dormaa - Ahenkro, Dec. 18, GNA - A 55-year-old woman, Adwoa Peprah, has been enstooled as the queen-mother of Dormaa Nsenia in the Dormaa Municipality, under the stool name Nana Adwoa Peprah.

Baffour Kofi Frimpong Ampem, the Dormaa Nseniahene of the Gyaase Division of the Dormaa Traditional Area, who announced this during an enthronement ceremony at Nsenia, said Nana Peprah was presented in 2010 to her deceased mother Nana Abenaa Asor, the late queen-mother of the Dormaa Traditional Area, and Odeneho Akosua Fima Dwabeng the second, as a regent who would succeed her mother.

The Dormaa Nseniahene said, the queen-mother exuded quality leadership qualities, such as humility, respect, hard work and dedication, apart from having endeared herself so much to the people.

The chief appealed to the people of Nsenia both home and abroad, to come home and contribute their quota towards the development of Nsenia.

He asked the people to give due respect to the new queen-mother, as well as the chiefs of Nsenia, so that they could listen to their pleas and solve their problems to maintain peace and order in the area.

Nana Peprah pledged to team up with the kingmakers of Dormaa Nsenia, and the people of Nsenia both home and abroad, to uplift the good image of Nsenia.

Nana Atta Boadi, Dormaa Nsenia Abakomahene, appealed to the various royal families to bury their differences and come together to move Dormaa Nsenia forward.
