Npp Council Of Elders Decree On Paul Afoko Is Not Only Unethical And Antagonistic But Also Self-Destructive

The NPP has shot itself in the foot and is shamelessly debasing itself to the world of how ethnocentric and intolerant the Danquah-Busia minus Dombo tradition can be. We knew this day was going to come.

The NPP Council of Elders has multitudinously erred by asking a legitimately elected NPP national chairman, Paul Afoko to step aside in their bid to please the party flagbearer. This singular act of the Council of Elders is unethical, antagonistic and a self-destructive decree.

The NPP national chairman, Paul Afoko, should not be solely blamed for the cancerous cacophony in the NPP. The overflowing brawls in the NPP existed long before Paul Afoko was popularly elected, national chairman of the opposition NPP. Why punish only Paul Afoko and not Nana Addo or General Secretary, Kwabena Agyapong etc who are largely and equally culpable in the current pitiful and debauched state of the NPP?

Nana Addo has not proven to be a fair leader, as flagbearer and leader of the NPP. Nana Addo’s leadership class is largely and charmingly masked underneath vindictiveness, arrogance and intolerance. Nana Addo’s open side-stepping of the two (2) main national executives of the party in his daily activities is a major setback.

Nana Addo inability and continuous refusal to dialogue with Alan Kyeremanteng and Former President Kuffour to unite the factions in the party is a huge encumbrance that will ultimately deny the NPP unity and peaceful co-existence.
