Gas explosion At Kasoa Kills Two, Several Injured

A gas explosion at Kasoa Ngleshie Amanfrom has reportedly killed two people with several others critically injured.

According to eyewitnesses, a cylinder exploded at around 1pm Tuesday during a maintenance work on one of them.

Personnel of the Ghana National Fire Service and the Police are at the scene coordinating operations.

The huge explosion caused fear and panic in the township as people run for cover, an eyewitness said.

The injured have been rushed to the hospital for treatment.
