Obama lifts block on delivery of F-16s to Egypt: White House

Washington (AFP) - US President Barack Obama told Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi on Tuesday he will allow the delivery of a dozen F-16 aircrafts which had been blocked following alleged abuses.
"President Obama informed President al-Sisi that he will lift executive holds that have been in place since October 2013," the White House said in a statement after the two men spoke by phone.
