Guinea, Mali go to drawing of lots at Cup of Nations

Malabo (Equatorial Guinea) (AFP) - Second place in Group D at the Africa Cup of Nations will be decided by a drawing of lots Thursday after Guinea drew 1-1 with Mali in Mongomo.

Kevin Constant put Guinea ahead and Modibo Maiga equalised Wednesday, leaving the west African countries level on three points each, goal difference and goals scored.

Ivory Coast won the group with a 1-0 victory over Cameroon in Malabo thanks to a first-half goal from Max-Alain Gradel
