NDC Aspirants Without ‘God Fathers' Financially Challenged

A communication team member of New Patriotic Party (NPP), Richard Asante Yeboah says some people in the National Democratic Congress (NDC) are financially challenged because they do not have any 'God fathers' to support them.

According to him, the young aspirants contesting various positions in the party are excelling because they have strong support from their 'God fathers'.

Asante Yeboah indciated that such support will give them opportunities, thus, making them win in the upcoming congress.

“The NDC as a party is really influenced by money and those monies always come from the big wigs in the party. For example Kofi Adams is now using big cars for campaigns all because he has a God father who supports him and so why can't he win” he quizzed on Adom FM's Dwaso Nsem Friday.

The NDC goes to the polls this Saturday at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium in Kumasi to choose new national executives.

A large majority of the incumbents, including Chairman Kwabena Adjei, General Secretary Johnson Asiedu Nketia and Organiser Yaw Boateng Gyan, are seeking re-election.

But Asante Yeboah opined that “Yaw Boateng Gyan should start crying because he will lose. In fact he should bring a very big handkerchief”.
