Tema Car Dealers Association Discover Escape From Online Fraud

Carmudi Ghana, an automotive marketplace, has contractually partnered with Tema Car Dealers Association, one of the largest auto retailing groups in Ghana.

The chairman of the Association, Mr. Mintah, put pen to paper after a team of Carmudi executives presented the benefits of the proposed partnership to the entire association membership on Tuesday, December 16th.

The Tema Car Dealers Association Chariman, Mr. Mintah, reported that the Association had struggled with issues of fraud using other internet e-commerce sites because most other sites allow absolutely anybody to upload listings without validity checks or verifications. Mr. Mintah was impressed by the rigorous checks that Carmudi staff members perform on uploaded listings before they go live onto the site.

The speakers representing Carmudi at the presentation were the Head of Public Relations and Marketing, Mr. Kelvin Kenneth and the Head of Operations, Mr. Kofi Kesse.
