Admiration is different from Love

It is not uncommon to see both men and women in a dilemma when it comes to deciphering between love and admiration. It takes only common sense and a pause to single out the latter. Admiration is when you derive pleasure from something that someone does - be it speech, mode of dressing, class of walking, et cetera et cetera. It happens always. Under normal circumstances, if a man (one who has all the qualities of a man in place) sees a decent lady he would naturally admire her and the opposite holds same. So is love discovered once just like admiration? Definitely not.

Though, that may just be my opinion. Come to think of it; will it be wise to begin to want (love) a lady or man you just meet occasionally? It is an established fact that every one has a penchant and it is this which leads into love. Surely, I would not like to fall in love with a lady who is not dark, simple, quiet, hard working, humble, light-weighted and God fearing. Therefore, how then can I spot a lady with all these qualities in meeting her just once or twice? It may be impossible if not definitely. All things being equal, there are other people with their tastes like I have mine. Love is more sublime than admiration.

One needs some time to ponder over the mix feelings before plunging into Love. Love is not a try and see journey. It is a journey that passes through mountains, valleys, peninsulas, thorns as well as roundabouts and needs to be meticulously planned and executed. Pause! Love is not lust. The latter is all about the gratification of the sexual urge. It follows, finally then, that where as admiration is determined by the here and now principle (pleasure), love deals with a whole life matter - it concerns about the future.
