GHALCA adopts knockout format for Top 4 tournament; new kick-off date set for 31 August

The Ghana League Clubs Association (GHALCA) has revised the format for the Top 4 tournament and altered the after meeting the clubs on Thursday. 

The new format has reduced the number of matches to five after the organizers adopted a knockout format to be played on a home-and-away basis between a 31 August and 03 September.

The grande-finale will then be played on 07 September in Kumasi.

Heart of Lions will host Hearts of Oak in Accra and champions Asante Kotoko entertain AshantiGold in the first leg fixtures.

The return legs will then be played in Accra and Obuasi with the two winners advancing to the finals.
