Eid Mubarak To All Muslims—CPP

The Ramadan month in the Muslim year of 1435 has come to an end. Eid ul-Fitr marks the end of the month. As we commence Shawwal, the Convention People's Party (CPP) sends warmest greetings with the message EID Mubarak to all Muslims.

The end of the fast signals the emergence of a clean soul that is free of all evil habits. It is also the perfect moment to usher spirituality, peace and brotherhood.

Beyond fasting, feasting and worshipping, Eid ul-Fitr is also about helping each other and sharing of gifts to family and to the needy. We exhort all Ghanaians to take a little time to reflect on how as a country we can meet the needs of the vast majority of our country which is poor.

The dedication, sincerity and honesty which the ardent disciples show during their fast must guide our national affairs also. We believe these qualities are necessary for delivering the new future that every Ghanaian now wants.

Eid ul-Fitr Salat and Rakats across the nation have been a blessing for all of Ghana and not only Muslims and thus the CPP joins the entire nation in thanking our Muslim brothers and sisters for their prayers and wish them the very best. We pray for Allah's continued blessing.
