The power of photos and reviewing our past

Recently I had a photograph with someone and decided to print the pictures. Whilst going through the pictures, I exclaimed “mama mia”. The reason was because I had put on more weight than I ever thought.

Having photographs are very good. In fact, it will be good to have one every month; then, add the end of the year try and review them. The review will tell you lots about yourself and help you make changes in many areas. Photographs can make us shape many areas of our lives. They can tell us how we are growing as people and lead us to make changes like Moses who told God to teach us to number our days, to enable us apply our hearts to wisdom.

Another thing that can help us in life is reviewing or reexamination of our lives every day. This tool is very powerful that it can help us correct lots of our mistakes, and focus on purpose instead of frivolities.

It was self-examination that made God to be interested so much in King David. Self-examination did make him to live in wisdom and with prudence. We as people can learn from these great people and have a better and not bitter lives.
