CWG Celebrates 10th Anniversary In Ghana

Computer Warehouse Group (CWG) Ghana Limited, a member of the Pan-African Information and Communications Technology Company, celebrated its 10 th anniversary in Ghana.

 
The occasion, which was well attended by dignitaries and stakeholders across the sectors of the economy and was organised by CWG Ghana in order to celebrate her partners, customers, Ghanaian Government, staff members and others who have contributed to the immense growth the company experienced in her past decade of operation.

 
And to declare the new technologies it intends to launch in the market, as well as present her new Country Manager, Mrs Harriet Yartey.

 
The celebration kicked off with a press briefing at the early hours of Friday, November 1, 2013, at the Movenpick Ambassador Hotel, Accra, where the Executives of the company, led by the Founder and Chief Executive Officer-CWG, Austin Kwesi Okere communicated the technologies that CWG Ghana has deployed and support locally, the impact on the user experience, the roadmap of new technologies it intends to launch into the market and also presented the new Country Manager for CWG Ghana, Mrs Harriet Yartey, a seasoned ICT professional, with stellar performance experience at the SOFTtribe, Vodafone and others.

 
Speaking at the press briefing, James Agada, the Chief Technology Officer and Executive Director, CWG, highlighted the dynamism in the technology space, the rapid changes it causes in the economy, and the importance of ICT organization such as CWG in proactively providing solutions and services that will meet current challenges and needs.

 
According to Mr Agada, CWG Ghana has grown from moving boxes largely on Sun Microsystems and Dell platform and providing after sales maintenance on intervention basis to a full-fledged Systems Integration company.

 
Having identified the dire gap in ICT Services, CWG has built human capacity in service delivery across various platforms like VMware, HP, IBM, Cisco, Checkpoint, Symantec, EMC, etc to provide cloud solution, Software as a Service (SaaS), and training.
