Father's Home Care gets support

Tetra Netherlands B.V, an oil and gas service company, has presented items valued at GH¢8,000.00 to the Father's Home Care in Takoradi.

The items include five computers and accessories, two bags of rice, two cartons of milk, toilet rolls, used clothing and cooking oil and the gesture formed part of the corporate social responsibility of the company.

According to Mr Glen Urquhart, Operations and Sales Engineer of the company, the donation was in response to a request from the home for assistance to help upgrade its ICT centre.

He said the company would continue to promote its corporate social responsibilities to other sectors to improve lives in the communities in which it operated.

Ms Rosemond Yamoah, Manager of the home, thanked the management of the company and assured them that the children would use the computers well to improve their IT skills.
