NDC NEEDS UNITY –KABORE

The Tafo-Pankrono Parliamentary Candidate for the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Madam Memunatu Kabore has called for unity in the party following the alleged infamous claim of the party's logo by the former first lady, Nana Konadu Agyeman Rawlings.

She said, in the wake of this, it was up to national executives of the party to rise to occasion to iron out the differences that existed.

'' I think that institutions within the party should be strengthened, built upon and sustained instead of individuals trying to take whatever credit is due the party'', she said.

According to Madam Memuna, “it is unfair to complain about the performance of the NDC government in the three and half years as against the eight year rule of the NPP”.

'' As a parliamentary candidate, I urge the party to provide us with all the required resources to enable us to embark on an effective electioneering campaign''.

On efforts to obtain a credible voter register, Madam Memuna said it was another testimony of the government's commitment at ensuring free, fair and credible elections come December this year.

She gave the assurance that the government will continue to demonstrate its commitment to ensuring that, come December this year, Ghana would have a peaceful and transparent election in order to prove to the entire world that the nation's democracy is thriving.
