SLIGHT CHANGES IN GROUNDNUT (EDIBLE) PRICES

In the Agbogbloshie and Kumasi Central markets prices of the commodity increased over the week by 9% (Ghc 3.26 to Ghc 3.56), 9% (Ghc 2.68 to Ghc 2.92) at the wholesale level and 6% (Ghc 3.47 to Ghc 3.69), 5% (Ghc 3.08 to Ghc 3.23) at the retail level respectively. In the Takoradi market wholesale price of groundnut (edible) inched up by 4% (Ghc 2.40 to Ghc 2.50), whiles at the retail level it remained unchanged (Ghc 3.00) over the week.

The Bawku, Techiman and Hohoe markets recorded flat trading in the commodity.
