Press release: Castle confirms Martin Amidu's dismissal

The Attorney-General and Minister of Justice, Martin Amidu, was sacked by President John Evans Atta Mills on Thursday for misconduct.

Interior Minister Dr Benjamin Kumbour has been directed to take temporary charge of the Attorney-General's Department.
