Tomato stabilizes

Tomato prices largely traded flat in monitored markets this week. In the Agbogbloshie market for example there was only a slight increase from Gh¢/kg3.05 to Gh¢/kg3.09 at the retail level. The price also held stable in Bawku, Tamale, Hohoe, Takoradi market. Only the Kumasi Central market recorded significant shifts at both the wholesale and retail levels. At the wholesale level, the price went up 50% (from 1.15 to 1.73) and 44% (from 1.33 to 1.92) at the retail level.
