Land Guard Leader Is A Foreigner

Ablekuma has in recent times gained the notoriety as a theatre of human murder and torture. In one sordid orgy of bestial act, two police officers lost their lives in a bizarre circumstance, an act that almost drew the entire police force to besiege the Ablekuma township to trace the perpetrators.

Some land guards believed to be ringleaders of the group were apprehended.

But who the leader of the group was, still remained a puzzle to many Ghanaians, because the police was put in the dark with regard to the true identity of the leader. However, says months of investigations has established that the ring leader is one Sitta Munkaila, a national of the Republic of Niger.

Ironically, Sitta lives at Kwashieman and only makes an occasional insurgency to Ablekuma when the situation beckons. The modus operandi of Sitta Munkaila and his group is to hide behind a lady called Dina who normally claims alibi any time the going gets tough for the Nigerien. The latest victim to face the wrath of Sitta and his group is one Kofi Asiamah, a caretaker at a house situated at Ablekuma.

He was accused by the Nigerien and his group of breaking into a house belonging to one lady called Dina at Ablekuma. However, the accused told the ''Independent'' that he knew nothing about the allegation.

He said he suspected that his accuser is only blackmailing him for exposing him Sitta in one of his nefarious activities.

But the paper says Munkaila is an icon at the Odorkor police station and is hailed at every move that he makes. Visitors to the police station confirmed that he has developed a personal relationship with the police and is therefore untouchable.
