Re-Living the Moments-My First Experience

Every time I cast my mind back
I realized nothing has changed
I am still me
But have lost part of me
Which I did value
But on that occasion
I didn't want it
I craved for something more expensive
My first kiss

I caught myself sweating
In the chilly weather of the harmattan night
I was filled with anxiety, tension
I stole a glance at Nana
Her lips cordially invited me
I was bereft of ideas
I needed to proceed
To be a man enough
I hesitated
My prearranged moves were all in shambles

I mustered courage stole a glance again at her lips

The Lip gloss she had made it more appealing
Yet, the man in me was no where near me
Taking a deep breath,
I manage to whisper her name
She turned slowly
She gazed at me
While I fixed my eyes on the oily lips
I made the difficult move of my life

Nana also made her move
She has been anticipating mine
I inch closer and closer
It was a journey which lasted forever
Just when I thought all of this was wrong,
It landed

There was a total black out
I felt her arms around my neck
As mine desperately searched for refuge
They landed on her hips
I don't know how it all lasted
For I was lost in time
My first kiss,
Memories worth reliving
At that point I wondered
What could be more exciting?
Perhaps….
That will require another episode to relive
