Kufuor visits Qatar

Accra, Jan. 6, GNA - Former President John Agyekum Kufuor left Accra Tuesday night for an official visit of Qatar at the invitation of Emir Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifah al-Thani, the ruler of Qatar.

A statement signed by Mr Frank Agyekum, Spokesperson, Office of the former President, said he would be away for five days.

He would discuss matters of mutual interest with his host during the period.
