US peacekeeper in Liberia commits suicide

An American UN Peacekeeper in Liberia has committed suicide after being placed under investigation for alleged sexual abuse of minors.  The man, who was part of the UN mission in Liberia was found dead at his home in the capital Monrovia where he was under arrest.  

The US Peacekeeper is reported to have filmed and photographed his antics with minors.  An investigation was launched after the peacekeeper was reported to the authorities by one of his victims, a sixteen year old girl.
