Students attend orientation course on career counselling

The College of Art and Social Sciences (CASS) of Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) and Ghana Education Service (GES) are jointly organising a three-day orientation course on career counselling for final year students in 18 Senior High Schools in Kumasi Metropolis at the Anglican Senior High School in Kumasi.

The event scheduled for March 26th, 27th and 30th is to give the students an opportunity to have first hand information with regard to the selection of their courses.

Mr Ralph Nyadu-Addo, Industrial and Professional Relations Officer for CASS disclosed this to Ghana News Agency in Kumasi.

He said it would enable the students be abreast with the various job opportunities available to them after their courses.

Mr Nyadu-Addo said it would also help erase the erroneous impression among some students that Visual Art, General Art and Business Courses were for only weak students.
