A waiting catastophe (Photo Report)

Presently at the Ministries in Accra is this messy wiring for telephone and electrical appliances serving the Employment and Social Welfare Ministry. The office building is currently in use and is regularly occupied by precious souls.

One wonders if the numerous fire outbreaks that have bedeviled the country and the attendant loss of life and property serve no lessons for the populace, particularly those expected to know better, given the above photograph taken only this Sunday, March 1, 2009.

But for how long will God forbid a disaster in the wake of this self-imposed, suicidal carelessness?

Sure we shall continue to pray for God to forgive us our trespasses, but this calls for someone's immediate attention.
