Okyenhene congratulates Ampofo on his appointment as Regional Minister

The Okyenhene, Osagyefo Amoatia Ofori Panin, has congratulated Mr Samuel Ofosu-Ampofo on his appointment as Eastern Regional Minister.

In a statement released on Friday, the Okyenhene said he was aware of the huge challenges that Mr Ofosu-Ampofo was likely to face as a Regional Minister but expressed the hope that he would succeed.

“Looking at the strength of character and determination that the Minister exhibited at the vetting, I have no doubt that he would succeed in promoting rapid socio-economic development of the region”.

The statement expressed the wish that Mr Ofosu-Ampofo's tenure as the Eastern Regional Minister would witness a remarkable improvement in the lives of the people in the area.
