School pupils undergo deworming exercise

Pupils of Akim Osino Islamic Primary and Junior High School (JHS) in the Fanteakwa District have undergone a deworming exercise to improve their health.

Madam Ishman Sherifatu, Headmistress of the school, told the GNA that in all, 161 Primary School pupils and 70 JHS students were dewormed.

She said the exercise was useful for the pupils and appealed to parents to deworm their children at least every three months.

Madam Sherifatu appealed to the District Assembly to improve the furniture situation in the school to enhance teaching and learning.
