President Kufour Receives Liberian Minister

President Kufuor holding discussions with Mr Samukai, Liberian Minister of Defence and Security

The Minister for Defence of Liberia, Mr Brownie Samukai, yesterday paid a courtesy call on President Kufour at the Castle, Osu.

He expressed the appreciation of the government and the people of Liberia to Ghanaians for their hospitality to Liberians during the critical stage of their national history when they had to seek refuge in Ghana.

He said the government and people of Liberia are looking forward to the visit of President Kufuor to Liberia.

Receiving Mr Samukai to his office, President Kufuor said Ghana and Liberia have related well for decade and expressed the hope that they will continue to be of service to each other.
