Italians donate learning materials to school

Mr Stephen Ameyaw, an Italy-based citizen of Nkrankwanta, has presented education materials to 252 basic school pupils at Nkrankwanta in the Dormaa municipality.

Mr Ameyaw said the books, pens, pencils, mathematical sets and other learning aids were contributions by his friends in Italy.

Presenting the materials one of the Italian friends, Mr. Marino Managuti, reminded parents that quality care for pupils resulted in quality academic achievements.

Charles Adomah, Assembly Member for Nkrankwanta who received the items on behalf of the pupils, expressed gratitude to Mr. Ameyaw and his friends and urged other citizens of the town resident abroad to follow the example.
