‘Kenya Situation Unacceptable’ - OATUU

The Organisation of African Trade Union Unity has expressed shock at the mayhem that has characterized the announcement of the results of Kenya's Presidential election. In a statement, it said the loss of lives and property cannot be justified under any circumstance.

At the same time, the organisation said it cannot accept the day light robbery of the peoples' mandate by selfish power-hungry political leaders, who have lost their moral authority. It has therefore called for respect of the Kenyan people's mandate.
