Anania Daniel Atampuba nominated as DCE for Bawku West

President Nana Akufo-Addo has nominated Anania Daniel Atampuba as the District Chief Executive (DCE) for the Bawku West District Assembly in the Upper East region.

Mr Daniel Anania Atampuba until his appointment to this high office was the District Director of the National Disaster Management Organization (NADMO) for Bawku West District.

He is said to have shown a strong commitment to improving the fortunes of the New Patriotic Party in the Zebilla constituency.

In a memo announcing the nomination by President Nana Akufo Addo, the various regional ministers have been instructed to conduct an election for the assembly members to confirm the nominees.

Daniel Atampuba Anania who is noted to have fantastic interpersonal skills deeply connected to the grassroot of the party.

He has considerable experience in public sector administration. He served as the Zebilla constituency youth organizer for two terms, polling station coordinator for Kansoogo and polling station executive for so many years and now the constituency secretary of the party.

Mr Daniel Atampuba Anania holds an MA in Public Administration from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, a Bachelor's Degree from the University of Cape Coast, and a Diploma in Basic Education from the St John Bosco College of Education, Navrongo.

This portal has gathered that Police have been beefed up at vantage points in the district's capital, and others on patrol to avert any illegal protest.

Meanwhile, some supporters of NPP in the district are in jubilant mode and thankful for the nomination of Mr Daniel Atampuba Anania.
