Condom Sale Shoots Up

Health matters can confirm that the sale of condoms in most pharmacy shops in Accra has shot up steadily during the yuletide. Pharmacy shop proprietors claimed the steady rise in sale of the product was perhaps due to the extensive education carried out on the dangers of the deadly HIV and AIDS .

Mrs. Evelyn Abazeri, a pharmacist at Citadel Chemists in Accra said the sale of the product went up by almost 80%, with youth leading the purchases. Stories from other regional capitals were not different.
