Former Greater Accra Regional Minister Ishmael Ashitey is dead

Mr Ishmael Ashitey, a former Greater Accra Regional Minister has died.

The former Greater Accra Regional Chairman of the governing New Patriotic Party, according to information died at the Tema General Hospital today, Friday, 7 January 2022.

The 68-year-old politician had been ill for some time now.

He recently returned from a medical trip to the USA.
