On tiresome woke-culture

On the subject of woke-culture, though not tech-savvy, one hopes that we will get some respite from it, in the metaverse, in which the apparent ability to see our biosphere from space virtually, easily, will perhaps make us more broadminded and tolerant, as a species - and not be so easily offended by well-intentioned people who genuinely don't mean to disparage others.

Most unfortunate is the sanitising of the past. Would it not be more useful, all round, to leave symbols of the past (statutes for example) where they were erected, so that valuable historical-lessons can be learnt generationally from them, till the very end of time? Baffling. Very.

Above all, we must all remember that in terms of geological-time, in a few million years (barring its destruction by an object from outer space), the earth will be thriving again, having recovered from the damage caused it, by the egregious short-sightedness, and greed, of humans - then long extinct because they made their only home, this beleaguered biosphere of ours, uninhabitable.

As thinking-beings, the question we ought to ponder over is: Why don't we focus our energies on preventing that from happening? Rising above woke-culture, globally, would be a good start, for starters. No? And, would abundant self-belief, spread widely by high-quality, world-class education, worldwide, end tiresome woke-culture, anaaaaa? Cool.
