Coronavirus: 228 new cases confirmed, 804 dead, active cases balloon to 2,458

Some 228 new COVID-19 cases have been confirmed.

This pushes the number of active cases to 2,458.

Ghana Health Service has confirmed.

Some 11 are in critical condition and 23 with severe cases.

The accumulated total cases is 97,956 since mid-March 2020.

Of that number, 94,694 have recovered.

The death toll is 804.
