Anlo MP donates to Muslim communities to celebrate Eid

Mr Richard Kwami Sefe, the Member of Parliament for Anlo constituency in the Volta region on Wednesday May 12 donated some food items to Muslims in the Anloga and Anyanui communities.

He extended his helping hand to widows, orphans, people living with disabilities and the less privileged in the Zongos.

Mr Sefe in his speech during the occasion stated that Muslims are our brothers and sisters who needed to be supported during such special occasion.

He urges them to use the occasion to pray for Allah's intervention in the raging covid-19 in the country.

Alhaji Djibril Hamani, the Chief lmam of Anloga Muslims community on behalf of his people expressed his gratitude to Mr Sefe for the kind gesture.

He appealed to his Muslim brothers to hold fast to the commandments of Allah for his blessing to remain on them and the country.

He said, the thirty days fasting and prayers of Muslims is for fortification and must therefore remain clean since Allah dwells in clean and healthy people.

Hajia Suleman Salamatu, a beneficiary in interaction also commended Mr Sefe and appealed to other philanthropists to emulate same.
