France 24 In English Reaches More Than 2.5 Million Viewers In Ghana, Kenya

According to a study conducted by Kantar-TNS* in Kenya and Ghana in 2020, France 24 in English has increased its notoriety in the region and enjoys growing audience numbers. In these two English-speaking African countries people’s need for trustworthy information is growing.

Every week more than 2.5 million individuals, representing 14% of the urban population, watch France 24. Moreover, more than a third (37%) of those surveyed claim they know the channel.

France 24 also confirms its growing popularity amongst leaders, managers and executives. 20% of them state they watch the channel each week, and almost 50% of them claim they know it.

Furthermore, according to the results of the study, France 24 is perceived as a “relevant” channel thanks to which viewers enjoy its global outlook, helping them stay informed with all the latest international news.

*Source: Kantar 2020 study conducted from February 21 to March 4. A representative sample of the population: 2000 individuals, 15 years old and older and 300 managers and executives.
