New Ghanaian Musicians Are No Competition--Ex Doe

Veteran rapper Ex-Doe has stated emphatically that he can still compete with a new crop of Ghanaian artistes.

According to the 'Maba' hitmaker, the new crop of Ghanaian artistes are not doing anything exceptional and that the media are not being fair to the old crop of musicians.

Ex-Doe made this statement in an interview on BrownGHTV's 'Time With The Stars' show.

When quizzed by the host of the show, First Lady if he can still compete with the talented and vibrant new school artistes, Ex-Doe disclosed that he can still compete with them if only the media will be fair to them.

"There is no heat in the music industry now. The new crop of artistes is talented but some of us have more 'heat' than them. I can line all of them, name them, Shatta Wale, Stonebwoy, Sarkodie and the rest are not doing anything 'strange'.We have seen it all and what the current crop of artistes are not doing anything exceptional. Current songs last for only 3 months. I am still eating and chopping from my 20 years ago music." Ex-Doe told First Lady on 'Time With The Stars'.

"I cannot compare myself to Kojo Antwi or compare myself to Amakye Dede, Never! They have done it and seen it all and they are still good but because of the media, they can't release anymore. Kojo Antwi and Daddy Lumba would love to release a new song but the media wouldn't support." He added

Ex-Doe opined that he can do more than what the new crop of artists are doing now.
