This year’s Adom Praiz was one of a kind, as artistes from hiplife, afrobeats and hiphop showed up at the venue, to cheer and to perform for Heavens to open as promised by the organizers.

Present at the event was Dadie Opanka, who didn’t perform but came to witness the power of God only to be carried away by the Praiz. Also in attendance was Kuami Eugene.

The ‘Confusion’ hitmaker was on stage to do his thing, but to the surprise of many, he sung gospel tunes and climaxed with his recent song ‘Wish Me Well’, which many have come out to criticized.

According to some gospel fanatics and entertainment pundits, artistes who perform secular songs in Churches and especially Kuami Eugene’s performance at Adom Praiz 2018 is blasphemous.

Well, it is not as if the singer went there on his own will, but perhaps the Holy Spirit directed him to be there.

In an interview on the TIG show with FrankyFive (Franky5) of Hitz FM, the Lynx Entertainment Rockstar revealed why he was at this year’s Adom Praiz.

“You can be big, you can go far, you can be whoever you want to be without a reason of messing up yourself and that is why I came to perform at this year’s Adom Praiz”, he told Franky5.

According to him, he is a clean person and he only does music for people to enjoy hence his songs can be sung at churches.

In addition to his explanation, Kuami Eugene expressed his gratitude, especially with the way God made for him in the music industry, one that he wouldn’t have been able to do on his own.
