The second edition of Golden Movie Awards Africa (GMAA) announced this year nominees and had scores of actors and actresses in the movie industry bagging nominations.

This year’s nominees was unveiled at Tanga Palace in Accra and had movie directors, actors, actresses and many top notch people.

Country Director, Mimi Andani in her welcome address said, with 248 entries this year, a new record for us considering the fact that it’s only our second year, this year competition was greater than ever and reflecting the tremendous diversity in the film industry.

This year awards is slated on 25^th June,2016 will recognize and honor achievement throughout Africa’s film industry with a lot of surprises.
