David Oscar Hits Studio To Pursue Music

Ghanaian Actor David Oscar has managed to stay out of trouble after his recent rift with fellow screen icon Yvonne Nelson. The Ace comedian seemed to have been too busy to make any major trouble, as he’s been spotted in the studio to nurture his budding desire for music.

After speaking on several radio stations about his new longing to pursue music, the man who introduced Ghanaian’s to sitcoms, doesn’t seem to be joking, as he’s even purported to have changed his friends; hanging out with more musicians, most conspicuously Edem.

A close source to David Oscar, revealed that, the entertainer has began spending a lot of time at his Accra based recording studio and is currently negotiating record deals. The Actor, who earlier released a teaser video, is also set to fly out to Nigeria later this year, to work on a movie and also seal a collaboration with a top Nigerian reggae musician.

When asked if his affair with music will elude comedy fans of his presence, David Oscar responded, “You see, right now, music has become my ride or die chick and comedy has become my side chick. They all in the equation, but one needs to be made a priority.

We can also report from reliable grounds that David Oscar has decided to do music and it appears he isn’t joking. The GhComedy originator who is reported to be negotiating major music deals, was spotted at the Tigo Ghana Head-office.

Sources close to David Oscar disclosed that the actor-turned-singer, was present at the office to discuss a deal, that would benefit both the celebrity and the brand. The source further revealed that, David Oscar and Tigo would be partnering to release and promote his subsequent singles.

During the visit, David Oscar paid a courtesy call on the company’s Marketing Manager and call center staff. David Oscar took the opportunity to motivate the staff, and condole a female staff who had just lost her father. The staff expressed their excitement and took the chance to interact with the star and wish him luck on his sojourn into music.
