Feature: Naa Ashorkor, JUST THE LAW

One question that came into my mind when I heard that award winning actress, television presenter, radio presenter and one of Ghana’s leading screen goddesses NaaAshorkor Mensah-Doku is JUST THE LAW, I asked can someone be JUST THE LAW.

The good news is the screen goddess is about to score another ace in her successful career in show business from this Sunday July 5th 2015 this time with a television show titled “Just the Law on Viasat 1.

So indeed she is JUST THE LAW. The latter is going to be a TV programme that will educate viewers about the law, viewers will learn about the LAW in more light-hearted and exciting way. The program seeks to engage and interact with the public about all aspects of the law with both the average and legal experts joining NaaAshorkor for the purpose of making the average Ghanaian understand law.

JUST THE LAW is produced by Content Vault who in a statement explained that “Just the Law” is a one-hour television show that aims at clarifying the law and in the process making the audience appreciate the law and know where to turn when they find themselves entangled with the law.

They further on added that starting this Sunday and for the next thirteen weeks, NaaAshorkor and her guests, made up of a lawyer and two other average people, will help to dissect the law and help to enlighten and offer legal advice to the public.

Content Vault opined that “Many people know the existence of some laws but do not know how it applies, others also do not know the existence of certain laws and how they could find themselves in trouble with them hence the motive behind the show is to inform, educate, engage and entertain the audience in a manner that most other law-based shows would not.

JUST THE LAW has segments like Pro Bono and Legal Maxims. It is an original concept of NaaAshorkor and produced by Content Vault for April Communications.

The show runners are NaaAshorkor and CabuteyAhumaAdodoadji promises an exciting 13 week long law series on our TVs.

Make a date this Sunday and every other weekend on Viasat 1 at 8pm and watch why NaaAshiokor is just the law.
