Thomas Frimpong Is Dead

One of Ghana's seasoned highlife musicians, Thomas Frimpong, whose music rocked night clubs and parties in Ghana in the late 1970s and 1980s, is dead.

According to reports, the musician died in the early hours of yesterday at the Korle Teaching Hospital after a short illness.

He was 72.
