Louis Agyemang picks ABSA award

Former Accra Hearts of Oak striker, Louis Agyemang has won a cash prize of $6,500 for emerging topscorer in the ABSA Cup competition in South Africa.

The Ghanaian international topscored in the competition with four goals and narrowly missed out on the chance to win the Player of the tournament, which comes along with a Ford Focus car.

Agyemang’s coach Ernst Middendorp did not miss out on the awards.

The one time Asante Kotoko and Hearts of Oak coach was rewarded with a cash prize of $5,000 for guiding Kaizer Chiefs to win the ABSA Cup.

Kaizer Chiefs picked up six awards in the competition.
