National Readers Association Donated Library Books To Mafi Agoe D/a Basic School

The Ghana Readers Association, a Ghanaian based NGO today donated library books to Mafi Agoe D/A basic school. The school has a population of over 280 and has being existing for long now without a library.

The headmaster, staff and pupils were filled with joy today as their dream of having a library came to pass today. The programs coordinator, Mr Confucius Caradoc Bedzina edged pupils to take advantage of the library to Enrich themselves with reading skills which will go a long way to improve their cognitive skills. The library books are suitable for pupils in kg1 through to jhs 3.

The headmaster appreciated the steps of the NGO and pledged to take care of the books, on her side, the assembly member Mrs Bokor Charity also thank the team and pleaded to work with the school to enhance good academics.

The foundation is poised to open libraries in rural schools
